Season of Submission

Here we are in the last week of May and what a momentous week this shall be. At we wrap up our practice for the harp worship during the All Malaysian Golden Gate Revival Convocation there is a shift in the atmosphere. We all know that after this convocation nothing will be the same ever again.

With Yahweh it is always upwards and never sideways.

[Pro 16:9] A man's heart deviseth his way: but יהוה directeth his steps.

I have learnt this revelation that now matter how we may see things in the natural, even though it seems so real; so 'in-the-moment'. However that is not the case. How we see things as they are whether it is good or bad, in Messiah Yeshua it is all good and will work for good for those in Himself. Therefore I take special comfort in the fact that when everything comes full circle and it is pleasant to taste, it is of Yahweh inasmuch as the times when everything crumbles and falls apart brutishly, it too is of Yahweh. What comes our way even if it is a buffering from the devil first must go through our Lord Himself first. After all satan had to get permission from Yahweh to lift the hedge protecting Job so that he could buffet him.

[Job 1:12] And יהוה said unto satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So satan went forth from the presence of יהוה.

[Job 2:6] And יהוה said unto satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.

Joseph's life is a prime example of Romans 8:28 made flesh. His brothers sold him off to Egypt, he was a slave in the house of Pothiphar. Because of false accusations he was cast into the prison house and was not remembered of Pharaoh's butler even after the good he done him for the next 2 years. But soon after he became the right hand man of Pharaoh. His opportune moment to exact retribution came upon his brothers however like Yeshua:

[1Pe 2:23] Who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously.

He surrendered what he wanted to do and likewise in these last days I realise that I may try all I like, it will amount to nothing. All Yahweh requires of me now is to stop my doings and surrender my entire spirit, soul, and body unto Him so that He may do the work in and through me and not of myself.

[Heb 10:5,7] Wherefore when He cometh into the world, He saith, Sacrifice and offering Thou wouldest not, but a body hast Thou prepared Me:

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of Me,) to do Thy will, O יהוה.

That's all there is to a Christian walk in my opinion, really. He desires that we simply just enter His rest that He may do the work in us; both to will and to do according to His good pleasure, unhindered by our needless trying to be good and holy and whatnot. And especially as Yahweh is bringing us into a new season in Himself we need all the more to stop the works of man so that Elohim may do the works of Elohim in and through us. All we need to do is to believe and thereby the works of Elohim will be accomplished.

[Joh 6:29] Yeshua answered and said unto them, This is the work of Elohim, that ye believe on Him whom He hath sent.
